Lisa Marie DiLiberto
Lisa Marie is the Artistic Director of FIXT POINT, and co-creator of The Tale of a Town, a site-specific theatre and media project which has now toured to every province and territory in Canada. With The Tale of a Town, Lisa Marie has devised and directed over 20 original productions in collaboration with over 70 artists from across the country. She is a Dora Award nominated director, and has a range of experience in the field, most notably as Playwright-in-Residence at Theatre Passe Muraille, Associate Artistic Director at Jumblies Theatre, and Education Coordinator at Canadian Stage. Lisa Marie is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School and Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris, France. Recent highlights include the nationally touring show, The Tale of a Town – Canada, Co-Creator of The Tale of Harbourfront Centre (Fresh Ground Commission / World Stage), Creator and Director of The Tale of a T-Shirt (Theatre Direct / Dora Award Nominations for Outstanding Direction and Best Ensemble), Director of The Keith Richards One Woman Show (Dora Nomination for Best Touring Production) and Associate Director for The Double (Bad New Days / Tarragon / 5 Dora Nominations).
