Biography

Katherine Sedgwick is a journalist, writer and community worker and lives in beautiful Queensborough, one of the hamlets that make up the Municipality of Tweed. She is co-ordinator of the Journalism and Communications program at Loyalist College in Belleville; previously she was a reporter and editor at newspapers large and small, including The Globe and Mail, the Montreal Gazette, the Kingston Whig-Standard and the Port Hope (Ont.) Evening Guide. She was part of a team of Evening Guide journalists who received the first-ever National Newspaper Award for Local Reporting. Her blog about life in Queensborough is called Meanwhile, at the Manse.
