Biography

Charles is the Managing Director of FIXT POINT and Co-creator / Producer of The Tale of a Town – Canada, a national project which has brought him all across the country conducting interviews, recording sound and designing interactive audio performances. Charles started his career as a technician at The Second City in Toronto, went on to produce radio plays for National Lampoons as well as becoming a broadcast engineer for CBC Radio.   Recent credits include 2 seasons of the IPF Funded web series Bill and Sons Towing, The Four Corners, a live art and video installation commissioned by Theatre Passe Muraille; The Tale of Harbourfront Centre, a binaural radio play for World Stage; FIXT POINT’s podcast series A Walk Down Main Street featured by The Walrus; and, the mixed media production of Stor(y)age for Subdivision at Magnetic North. Recently Charles produced and directed a 10-part television and web series for TVO featuring stories from The Tale of a Town titled Main Street Ontario www.tvo.org/programs/main-street-ontario
